Year Amount Purpose
2018 $25,000 CompassPoint received a $25,000 grant for Tier 2 of the Next Generation Leaders of Color – Inland Region which will work with a subset of the leaders from Tier 1 and the organizations for which they work. 2017 $20,000 The NGLC IE cohort marks the first in the Inland Region. Its aim is to build on the past successes of the NGLC while also creating a program that will address some of the opportunities and challenges identified by local stakeholders in the IE. CompassPoint staff co-design programs that are rigorous, relevant, and engaging of constituent perspectives with their clients and funders. Program components include completion of a 360 Degree Strengths Assessment, Quarterly In-Person Retreats, Facilitated Peer Learning Groups, Executive Leadership Coaching, and Evaluation.
