Desert Sanctuary, Inc.
Established in 1982, the mission of Desert Sanctuary, Inc. (DSI) is to provide for people in need, including, but not limited to, individuals and families affected by domestic abuse, and to provide a haven safe from violence; a place of temporary refuge. Their shelter services host over 30 beds, is ADA compliant, and provides for 30-day emergency stay, with extensions up to 6 months while working on legal, financial and educational goals. Counseling, groups and classes are designed to empower clients to provide for themselves and their children physically, emotionally and financially in an environment free from violence.
